Oct 05, 2009 05:40 pm Very nice. I wasn't sold on it right away, but the work you've put into it really helps bring it to life. I was very involved by the second half.
Nice job.
* edit * oops, sorry, forgot you asked for advice. I'm not sure I really have anything to offer. The piece really sets well on its own. Plus, I'm probably not overly skilled in that genre to give useful advice.
I do, however, know what I like, and I like this, even though it's not the first style of music I listen to.

Oct 05, 2009 11:14 pm OK, only had a tiny bit of a listen. I will indeed give it a full on listen tomorrow as this sounds right up my alley. Very ambient mood you have set with it.
I'll give it a good listen tomorrow for sure.

Oct 06, 2009 06:01 pm As for the vocal it reminds me a bit of The Charletons UK. Actually the whole piece does a bit as well. They were into the heavy reverb and ambiance sound.
I really like the subdued percussion as well. It might be a tad heavy on the low end but it seems to work very well in this piece.
