the problem is most likely the Lexicon not Cubase 4. in fact its probably 99.9% the Lexicon doing it.

If you can give us a little more info on your PC as well. CPU speed and amount of RAM you are using. Also Windows XP, Vista????

That will help us as well.

OK, the PC should be plenty fast and has enough RAM to run stable.

It could be any of several things then, I"ll list a few things to check.

Also, You didn't say if your running windows XP Home, XP Pro or any version of Vista. If you are using Vista it appears there are many problems being encountered by user's. YOu can have a look at the forums starting here. www.steinbergusers.com/fo...h=true#Post5957

Steinberg is not giving much support for 4 in Vista. And I am guessing that is part of the problem.

But as Deon mentioned the Lexicon drivers can cause a lot of crash issues as well.

I would suggest that you make certain you have the latest updates for both Cubase 4 and the driver's for the Lexicon.

I'd chuck autosave on (file-preferences) every 5 minutes or so for peace of mind until you get it figured out.

I guess that might be a good start. Its possible that either the driver install for the Omega or even the software for Cubse might have been corrupt as well.

As I stated, do you have the most current software update for Cubase and the most current driver install for the Omega? That would be the first two things I would look at.
