My question would be for a control room and a mic/vocal/instrument room?
I think I have the rest of my room treated pretty well based on the advice of many on this board (MM, Noize, etc.) but have not gotten around to treating the ceiling in either room yet. If I could fiure out how to post pics on this site I would...
Any insight is always appreciated.

Aug 03, 2009 02:36 pm I would say that anything that you don't want to reflect sound, should be treated. If it's a sonic hazard, then it can be treated.
As far as images go, you have to host an image somewhere, then place the link in the body of the message (include the http:// part too, so it shows up in the body of the message).

Aug 03, 2009 04:56 pm Yep, the ceilings here are all acoustic tile and it makes a world of difference. In here I also use a product from Auralex called Sheet Block. It makes a huge difference in the way the room is. You can findit and other bits here.

Aug 03, 2009 11:35 pm I'm a huge fan of dead ceiling in small rooms (or live *diffuse* ceilings in large rooms).
I'll rarely pass up a live floor though...
