Can someone help? I burned songs from the BR unit to a CD. When I put it in my Mac it came up in chinese(?) characters instead of English (my native a language). The Mac wouldn't let me change the names of the tracks. When i put it into a PC it worked fine. Can someone tell me why this happened? Thanks and happy recording!

How old is the Mac, and what OS is it running?

I would just say its because its a Mac but that would be wrong, funny but wrong.

I'm guessing the Mac simply could not read the encoding as it might not be redbook standard being burned by the BR.

I might suggest hitting the BR manual and see if there is some character set or language encoding that is being put on the CD that the Mac simply can't work with.
