I recently bought myself a mixer, which is a behringer xenyx 1204fx. On the mixer i have plukked a mic and a gitar. So I want to record both to my computer. I have connected the mixer to my pc with the included usb cable. The cable I connected to the computer by ubs and plukked it on the mixer to the "input cd/tape" and the "output cd/tape" connectors. Now, when I play music from my pc, I can hear it on my speakers (krk v6) which are connected to the mixer also by xlr cables. The thing I cant invent is how to record the sound to my computer. Couse when I check the mic on my pc, it gives no soundinput. Anyone got a idea what I'm missing? Thanks.

What software are you using to record into? And whatare you using for the audio interface, the Behringer interface that came with the mixer? You will need to make certain its set itself up in windows or install the drivers that are available at Behringer's webs site. The select those in what ever software you are using to record.
