hear myself while recording using aa 3.0

hello all why is this so hard to figure out
i have a usb powerd condenser mic running to my comp my sound card is a extreme pci sound card im win xp mce 2005 and i would love to hear my self while i record anyhelp would be great and im using the smart input setting so if u can help i will love ya for life no mixers no hardware just comp mic and adobe please help

In AA you have to make sure to turn on the "Input Echo" button located by the track faders.... I'm going from memory as I haven't used AA in awhile...

I'll open up AA and see what I have for settings later on today and update this thread if that doesn't get you up and running.

search the manual for "direct monitoring"....

Instead of smart monitoring, try monitoring "input always" (talks about it in the link above).
