Hi,
When I go to record guitar I have EZ drummer going and it seems to cut out for 4 beats then come back on. The guitar records fine. I am not trying to record EZ only play along to it. It only happens when I record......anyone know whas going on here? Im using Sony Acid 7.0.

Jun 11, 2009 04:47 pm Does it cut out at the very beginning or somewhere intermittently?
Also, is it a demo version? Or is Acid a demo version, unregistered?
Jun 11, 2009 05:04 pm They are both full versions and it starts with the first beats and after 4 boom, its gone then back. I haven't really let it play for very long. As soon as I stop recording it goes away.
Jun 12, 2009 03:30 pm I know but the same plugins sound overly honkey and mid rangey but if I use Acid they sound much warmer and full like a real amp. I don't get it either man.....I had the same thing happen at my drummers house. He uses ableton and audition and I was amazed at how good they sounded. I had Vista at the time and he had XP so I thought it was Vista. Nope I have XP and they still sound crappy in Pro Tools. I was trying all kinds of things to get it to sound right compressors, eq but it never sounded "right". It was difficult for me to find inspiration with these mid rangey overly loud sounds. I happened on ACID because it uses DX and Pro Tools don't (needed it for Mic Modeler) and when I tested my guitars they sounded great! Full prestes too, no extra tweaks....nothing. It was great. NOW I got this dumb EZ drummer problem.......its always something right....
