Hi,
Im writing from the land of frustration. Could someone please help. I just bought an Alesis multimix 16 usb interface so as to utilise simultaneous tracking capabilities. My PC recognises it without a problem, but when it comes to sound playback and recording, its like everything is distorted and in slow motion.
I figured it was a memory issue as I only had 512mb so I upgraded to 2gb and it is still doing it.
I tried it on my wife's laptop which is running Vista and 1gb and it worked fine. So I dont think it is the hardware. I've updated all the necessary hardware and firmware etc and Ive tried adjusting the WMD buffer. No joy.
Anyone got any ideas?

May 27, 2009 05:51 pm What recording software are you using, and what is the CPU speed of the PC your having issues with?
Have you tried the ASIO driver's yet?
