PT LE 8 error message on Vista Ultimate

ok When i open my PT LE 8. It starts loading up my plug-ins fine the it stops and i get this error massage

:Native Instruments
"Installation folder not found. Please select a folder now"

and i cant open up my pro tools after that point. i click ok in the box and then i sit and weight...and weight...and weight not a thing hatpins the loading icon just keeps going and going then if i click on something eels it tells me pro tools is "Not Responding" what should i do i went to all the help sites given to me by Digidesign but they where no help at all

If your running 64 bbit your out of luck. PT 8 does not support 64 bit yet. But they sure charge a lot of money to not run on newer systems.

So it will toss errors like that at time.

And yes even running 32 bit it seems there are several issues with PT not wanting to wrap the VST's or VSTi's.

I suggest contacting Digi and see if you can get support from them on it. As of right now I have not seen a cure for the error's that come up during load.
