Does anyone know of any good VST compressors, I like the ones waves and tracks have but i'm looking for a couple more, they don't have to be free i don't care either way, just as long as they're good

May 20, 2009 09:50 am Reaper plugs have compressor that is liked very much by the reaper community.

These are the VST versions, works in most DAWs.
there's also multi-compressor, and FFT analyzer thing, that does a bunch of stuff (eq, gate, comp, etc).
There's a few other things in there as well, but you can see for yourself.
Also, stillwell audio has some very nice plugs. He developed some tasty offerings, that aren't way spendy. He's got full-use trials, but shareware model. I think they're 30-50$.

He's got some other stuff besides comp too.
May 20, 2009 09:31 pm You'll have a hard time finding better than the UAD plugs IMO. Especially with dynamics. The AM-Suite is pretty amazing also...

Kjauerhaus Compressor
I reach for that compressor first and more often than any other, even my Waves C1.

May 23, 2009 08:05 am i think the sony graphic dynamics plugin is really cool.giv it a try!
May 25, 2009 10:29 am I tend to use the Cubase Vst Dynamics a lot. It's simple enough to use and has a noise gate. I'm sure there are better ones though.
Kjauerhaus Compressor is a nice one as well.
