Would love some feedback on the mix of this song. It is sort of dark and hard to describe. Thanks!

May 15, 2009 12:41 pm Hmmm, this is an odd one. The synths are sooo loud and overpowering that I can barely hear the drums or vocals. I would like to be able to hear the vocals as they sound like it might be very cool/trippy/unique but at the time I hear layers of synth fighting with each other and everything else.

May 15, 2009 01:01 pm I personally would work on the synths. Cut a freq here and there to give the drums and vox room to breath and sit them back in the mix just a tad. The other parts don't "sound" bad from what I can hear, I just can't hear them well.
Very unique song though, will look forward to hearing it again.
May 15, 2009 01:07 pm argh, that voice that comes in was annoying...the music I thought was unique and kinda cool, the voice killed me tho
I think I'd have the synths oscillating a little bit more to add some texture...and something holding a subtle but steady beat...it seems a bit too loose, maybe, I dunno, hard to describe.
