New mix using EZ drummer and lots of EQ.Not too happy about the guitars but i guess it works.Please guys....critics!

Apr 28, 2009 12:32 pm no not much into cooking.i don't like curry too much maybe cos i live on it.but we as in my mom and dad and i prefer stuff with less oil and spices.
but,hey!do tell me about the mix.it does not sound right i knw but what is the problem?

it sounds ok on the speakers but wen i listen to it on stereo it feels like it's on mono i mean it's really close to your brain and not wide and although i do not have much of a guitar setup but i knw it cn be made to sound heavy.just some ideas!

eg:
make sure if your recording output bus is mono, that you arent recording that, to a stereo track in your project.
in other words make sure everything corresponds correctly.
mono to mono, stereo to stereo.
when you add a new track to your project make sure you choose the right setting.
how are you panning your guitars?
like you said, you can still get it to sound heavy with the setup you have.
just need to figure out some things.
