I have just bought a Korg D888 and recorded a concert. I recorded each half as a song, but now I need to mix and master, I need to split each song into individual items, so I can mix each individually. I will then need to write them as separate tracks onto a cd.
Does anyone know if this is possible - I cannot find anything in the handbook

Apr 27, 2009 02:13 pm Yes, it is possible. But you will need to export them to a program on a PC or Mac to be able to do it.

Can I export each of my 8 tracks individually or do I have to convert to two track first?
I normally use soundforge for editing etc - will this be compatible?

May 02, 2009 05:55 pm I believe you simply mute the track you don't want to export. But I suggest looking in the manual as I don't own one so can't really tell you how to do it. Normally you simply mute tracks you don't want to export at that time. Then unmute them when you want them exported.
But it is possible the DA can do all 8 at once. The manual should have info on that though.
