For $200 you can look into a small 2 channel USB interface and one of the normal MXL mic's.
What's the better choice/setup?

I record vocals on my laptop. Should go with....

Note, I'm not necessarily asking which mic is better. I just want to know which 'setup' provides better sound clarity/quality...
Is it the USB mic? Or, the condenser mic with the addition of the mic mate? But mics are the same price, but I don't mind paying for the 'mic mate' if it will significantly improve quality.
Thanks in advance for any help. And I'm open to other suggestions/alternatives. I just want the best I can get for under $200
