I'm seriously considering getting a new interface even though I have about nine cents to my name.
Within 3 months of buying my Lexicon I had to send it back to be rebuilt. Less than ten uses later it had to be rebuilt again. I've used it about four times since and now I'm getting almost nothing from the mic. I don't have another mic or cable to see if that's the problem, but with the history I've had with this thing I'd bet it's the Omega.
I just want something for my mic and my headphones so I can record my voice. That's it. I'm a simple man.
The Omega is great when it works, but I never know when that will be.

Feb 18, 2009 04:31 pm What kind of mic (dynamic\condensor). Basically, do you need phantom power?

Feb 19, 2009 11:27 am Yup, I was gonna say the UX2 also. Was also thinking the UX1 but.. no phantom power. Line6 have been a stable and affordable solution for me for quite some time.
Feb 19, 2009 04:45 pm I looked up the UX2 and I didn't see a mention of phantom power, unless I'm missing something. Does it work well with Cool Edit Pro 2.0?
