American airlines flight 1549 just crashed into the Hudson. Amazingly, the plane stayed a float. All 148 passenger are alive, and just kind of waited for a ferry to come along.

How strange is that? Not the fact that the plane stayed a float. Being that you could almost walk across the Hudson. But, the fact that they just waited for a ferry!

OH Dam! I hope that the ferry hurry's up. I have a meeting in an hour.

That is crazy. My dad is a pilot, so I'm going to ask him about how difficult it would be to land a plane in water. I remember that one that completely tore apart off of Africa (south africa? I think?) about 10 years ago. Crazy!

The one off Africa was a hijacked plane out of Nigeria... it ran out of fuel.

In the 80's one went into the Potomac (which was iced over) - also hit a bridge.
