motu pci card won't install

I recently installed a new hd and reinstalled xp pro sp2 and when trying to reinstall my pci 324 card i get a "this device cannot start code (10)" I have tried all the online solutions I could find and spent 2 hrs on the phone w/ a microsoft tech w/no success. I've tried the original drivers and the latest from motu site and nothing seems to work. This thing is driving me crazy I'm at the end of my pc abilities. Thanks in advance

Jan 13, 2009 09:42 pm Also, have you looked for any IRQ conflicts? Moving the card to another PCI slot might help as well.
As a side not, Audio interface and some other cards do not like to share IRQ's at all. So that might be a place to start looking.
Jan 14, 2009 09:16 am As far as the static issue I'll try to put it in another pc to see if it still works but I'm usally really careful about that. and right now it's the only pci card installed rightnow and also I've tried all of the slots with no change in the results.
Jan 14, 2009 01:16 pm I hear ya, I am quite carefull (my job is hardware) but had a dumb dumb friend over who picked it up and simply looked at it once I had it set on the static pad.
I hope that is not the case for you.
