Firefox issue on one computer

OK Mozilla gurus, here's one for ya.

I just put up a new web site. I have five home computers, and the site looks fine in both IE and Firefox on all of them, except for in FF on my main office PC. The formatting is totally trashed, the text is piled up, and some of the page elements won't even display. None of the advanced browser settings have been changed. Clearing the cache didn't help.

I'll reinstall FF if I have to. Just wondering if one of you smarties knows what the hitch is.

Here's the site. Does it look OK to you?

Well, I'm not exactly a mozilla guru, but I do use firefox where I can. It's my experience that when crap like that happens, it's not the browser, but what the browser is interpreting; in other words, the html/css/javascript/whatever that's used to display the page.

However, on glancing through the source, the page code/format looks okay to me, so all I can say is that maybe for whatever ****** up reason, that particular machine's browser might be misinterpreting the CSS or some of the javascript. I'm assuming that machine's FF is up to date, or running the same version as the others? And to clarify, it does look okay in IE on the machine in question right?

If it makes you feel better, it looks fine on my machine with both IE7 and FF 3.0.5

If I find time, I'll see if I can nitpick through the code and see if anything catches my eye...not that I'm a strong coder or anything, but I've got a little experience from writing a file uploader/downloader for work.

Hopefully someone with more web-design experience can chime in as well.

Thanks for looking at that, Jim.

All of my browsers are up to date, and IE displays it fine on all PCs.

We originally had the domain pointing to a different nameserver, and the machine in question was the only one in the house that I used to work on - and view - that web page. The problem started when I switched hosts, so I'm thinking there's something stuck in the browser cache that's causing a conflict.

Wiping out FF and reinstalling it will probably fix the booger (he said, hopefully).

The reinstall worked. The video on the front page still wants to autoplay in Firefox on some machines but not others, in spite of having the autoplay feature disabled. I can live with that for now; it's a free site.

I'm doing customized, narrated photo tribute videos. You don't have to know a dying or dead person to be a client! These work just as well for birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, weddings, or just for gifts. Be sure to check out the video embedded on the front page.

Well, glad you got it sorted. I may look into that myself someday in the near future. Depending on when me and my fiancee` get around to actually tying the knot. :)

(edit/P.S.) Oh, and I hope the site/business goes well for ya.

Yep, worked find for me as well on newest release and one version back on FF as well as IE7. I'm not doing 8 as its a huge resource hog as of yet.

Nice deal there for sure. I might think of something down the road a bit.

I've been trying to figure out if there is a hidden meaning to the code itself.

Not getting anywhere though.
