Hello :)
We've recorded a new song with my friend and I'd like to hear some comments from you, it's a slow rock song.
The song can be listened here at www.soundclick.com/bands/...;songID=7219555
The lyrics are there as well.
Please tell me what you think of the song :)

Jan 10, 2009 03:46 pm I like it, a well written song.
I like the acoustic tone you are getting and the breathy vocal came across well. This is an example of finger squeaks adding to instead of taking away from a song :)
I almost wanted to hear some more projection in the vox once the drums kicked in. Just a suggestion, but perhaps a second vocal track with some power behind it, kinda like a "Live" tune.

Jan 10, 2009 07:22 pm very hard to record vox using this kinda method/style, unless yer a vocal genius or pro. still its pretty good man.
great guitar sound too.
only thing i will add is just a pitch issue with the vox in spots. but hey, dont we all do it.
i like it. cool song.

Jan 12, 2009 02:56 pm Agree with pjk as well on wanting to hear a bit more once the drums started.
Although it wasn't bad at all.
Acoustic capture was pleasant as well, not a huge sound, until the lead part comes in. Then it gets big, which might have been a bit much and tossed the balance of the mix off a bit overall.
but there again really nice capture of the sound for sure.

Jan 22, 2009 04:32 am Charming stuff! How did You record vocals? They sound very natural.
I totally dig the soloing guitar too :)

Jan 25, 2009 07:23 pm Hi again :)
I'm glad you liked it.
The voclas were recorded with a Behringer B-1 condensator microphone.

My head was still in another thread I think.
Jan 27, 2009 02:19 pm One of the best recordings I've ever heard on this forum. I'm glad I've been coming back here more often again.
