I just got a Tascam US-144 in a package with Cubase LE4 and a Tascam TM-78 Condenser Mic. I have installed the drivers and think I have everything set up right, but I can't get Cubase to show any signal coming in. Not very sure where to go from here. Basically, I have the US-144 plugged in via USB and the mic plugged into that. I think all my settings are correct but no audio signal in Cubase. Any thing I should be looking at? Thanks for any help?

Dec 18, 2008 11:11 pm OK, just to double check.
You have the phantom power on for the mic? You have the channel gain turned up for the input the mic is plugged into? And you have a track set up to use the Tascam input and it is armed to record?
Also, back a few steps. Do you have the Tascam drivers selected in the audio preferences of Cubase?
Welcome to HRC by the way.
Dec 20, 2008 01:05 am Well, I turned it all on yesterday, and all of a sudden I got signal in. I don't have any idea what is different... Kinda frustrating. I really dig this place. I am sure I will have many more questions... Thanks for the reply!
