I plug my Cort Z44 into Korg AXG3 and when I jam like that using headphones (and no amp) the sound is fabulous. Today I've connected Korg's out (which is usually headphones) with my Audiophile 2496 ins (both left and right) using standard jack/rca cable. The sound was horrid...

I've tried using noisegate and it helped with the noise before&after I played actual notes but there was still awful buzzing along with guitar sound that passed noisegate.

Now, my question is: how can I minimalize this awful noise? Is it possible using only a floor effect or do I have to get a mixer or solid amp (mine's crappy)? Or maybe better cables?

Thank You for Your patience!

It should have a pair of line outputs that you would use rather then the headphone output. That should eliminate any noise issues.
