Got a rather difficult track that I'd like to get some drums on but I'm not good enough to make it seem real. It's a Neurosis/Meshuggah type track. Kinda spaz.

Dec 10, 2008 06:33 pm How about some real drums? I play, my neighbor plays much much better, and his roommate is pure death metal drummer. I bet they would be willing to take a stab at it if you like.
I could also drumagog the crap out of them to get that death metal tone, although I don't play alot of it, I used to be a huge fan and have a good understanding of what metal drummers like tonewise.

Dec 14, 2008 03:35 pm Right on, am going to take a listen now. After hearing it, I will see who is the better option between my two neighbors.
Intro is cool, can you provide me with the tempo used for click. Also, I assume some intro'ish cymbals and what not would be cool until everything kicks in?
Dec 14, 2008 04:04 pm It's at 125.2 bpm...
It's all up to you man. Do what you will. Haha. If you can think of something for that part do it, if you think negative space is better, then right on. :)

Dec 15, 2008 02:32 pm Haha. I used Beat Calculator before I started to record to pick the most comfortable tempo. That's what it told me! Haha.
