I am looking around online for similar problems, what do you have the CPU usage slider set at on the Omega control panel? You may need to turn the buffer up a tad (less CPU usage).

That processor "may" be a problem as the sempron is amd's celeron (dumbed down processor for cheap PC's). Find out what your board can accept and pop in a better processor if you can afford it, AMD is ridiculous cheap these days for a very nice processor. This is just a suggestion.

Also, if using a wireless USB card you may want to disable that (just my experience).

Noize is the AMD man, he can probably tell you the best bang for your buck.

Before you go buying anything though, we should resolve the issue. A new processor would be great in the long run, but that sempron should at least work. From what I can tell the Sempron uses the AM2 socket, you would need a processor that uses the same.

I did find a post in the Lexicon forums regarding driver issues from recent months. This person was having issues with the 2.0 driver but could record, then he upgraded to 2.5 and it was worse.

What version of the driver are you using?

Last but not least, your USB ports are 2.0 right?

Most motherboards have a list of speeds and such that the board can support. If it can support the speed of that processor, and has the right socket to fit it, you should be good.

Look through your Mobo's manual or online support and just check.
