Anyone read anything about this yet?

I get the HP newsletter, mostly for IT stuff. But this looks kinda cool. Go surfing without fear.

Surfing without fear? Noize, which Internet are you using?

Did you read it in depth Herb.

I sounds like its going to be a virtual set up were the content doesn't even reach your box before it is scanned.

I haven't read the whole thing yet though myself. But it sounds promising. More likely for business then home though.

But Ray could use it here. Every time he goes to look at....

Well you know.

I know Noize. Technology progresses faster than any of us can keep up with. It doesn't matter how many websites you browse or how many magazines you subscribe to.

The new Firefox thing may amount to something. I'll wait and see.

Did Tony mention I sent him an email?

Ya, I agree. By the time this thing gets going, someone will have created a virus to take it down or get past it.

I haven't talked to him for a few days. Gonna try calling him this morning though. But usually talk for a bit on Sat. night's.

That sounds kinda cool, I'll have to look into it more when I have less of a headache.

Ya, I'm gonna finish reading about it after I run a few errands this morning. The Symantec part is what worries me though. But time will tell.

It sounds alot like IE 7's protected mode for FF. Only thing is I wouldn't touch anything with Symantec in it that I could avoid.

I am clueless as to why Norton antivirus still sells. It's an evil, worthless piece of ****.

Personally I don't like either. I use AVG and have for years. That was on dB's recommendation and it hasn't failed me yet.

But on the Symantec part of it. If I am reading it right your not really installing anything from Symantec on your PC. It is simply running virtually off their server.

That is if I have read everything correctly that they are stating.
