Heck, we now have a level 3 sex offender moved in across the lake...yeah, people are just a mite worked up around here.
That is the second level 3 in town, neither are feeling too wanted as I understand it. A third tried a while back but wound up not coming...not sure why...
Fortunately neither of the two will really be seen by us as they really aren't in our typical radius of life...
Dec 08, 2008 07:53 am Interesting tid-bit I learned this morning...In Nevada parole hearings are every 3 years, OJ is eligible for parole in 9 years. The first hearing passes only 2% of the time, the second 10% if there is a victim (there is in this case), the third usually does.
Therefore OJ would, based on the law of averages, be out in 15 years when he is in his early-mid 70's. (72 I think I was told).
Additionally, there is a white supremacist gang in that prison that has vowed to do everything they can to kill him, as they see OJ as somebody that has killed a white man and a white woman.
