I guess I had my hopes a little to high after listening to ACDC's new Black Ice album (the best album since Back In Black, sans the overplaying). I figured that if ACDC could produce the sound equivalent of awesome, that GNR (or I guess it's GNRINO-Guns N' Roses In Name Only) would be able to squeeze a little more excellence onto a stagnant and shitty rock scene.
My mistake... or should I say, Axl's mistake?
Dec 04, 2008 12:28 am for some reason it's getting lots of good reviews. i don't understand that. for a while i was googling, looking for negative reviews, expecting to find some. but there weren't many. personally i liked aspects of some of the songs. scattered moments here and there. sometimes a single chord choice, sometimes a chorus (shackler's revenge has a good chorus), sometimes another section (the final track's outro is nice). but all in all i just dont know what the album IS.
