V-Amp 2 vs. J-Station

I'm wondering which one I should get and why?
I play Punk/Emo music and I'm looking for a way to get a tone similar to Incubus, Hoobastank. That heavier tone. Which unit would be better for getting this type of tone?

Also I noticed the J-Station had a digital out which would improve the quality but it does not have a foot switch. The J-Station also has bass presets which I would also use.

I'm just wondering which one you would reccomend for this type of music.

Thanks!

I like the
fx on the J-Station better then the V-Amp. But in all honest, I use a POD, and would not trade it for either of those amp sims. The POD has a much more aggresive sound set, and does a much better job of emulating a real guitar amp and cab set-up. You can edit it very deeply with the software through you PC.

as convenient and cool as it is. i am against using the v-amp for serious recordings, it is good for demo quality, but i would go with real cab miking always. here are some songs i recorded recently with my behringer v-amp using the modern hi-gain emulator.

I have used the POD in place of a real amp for several years now for professional recordings. the AIR cirquit, which is the cabinet emulation cirquit plays an important part in the sound you get. It take some experimenting to get a good sound, but once you get a good tweak, it is hard to tell a real miced cab from the POD once its in the mix.
