I'm trying to install a compressor plugin... the web page I got it from told me to: "switch to your windows/system directory and type "regsvr32 c:\mypath\comp.ax". "

I have no idea how to do what they're talking about. HELP!

I am a little unclear on what they are talking about. Can you give me a little more information? Like what plug-in and what web page your referring to so I can go check it out myself and explain to you what you need to do.

This is the page I was using: www.directxfiles.com/manufacturers/richy_comp.htm

That's all the info I have on it.

well, any pluging I have every used just installed like any other application, with the nice little install wizard...if it doesn't have that, and you are not comofrtable doing techie type stuff, I would say get a different plugin.

www.analogx.com has a lot of free plugins, most are quite good too...

Yes but will they work with Multiquence?

I believe Multiquence will use any DirectX plugin, and all of analogx's plugins are directx...at least most of them are.
