Sony Acid 7/EZDrummer

New to Sony Acid, that being said, I created a midi drum track with EZDrummer. Dragged it into Acid, and can play it, no probs. When I try to record it to another Audio or Midi track, I get nothin'!!! Do I need hardware to do this? Is it possible to use EZDrummer as my midi controller and record straight to Sony Acid?

my experience with EZ is its just drag n drop.
when you say record it to another track, do you mean duplicating the same midi track, in the same project?

I use Cubase but when i do this i just set up another instrument track(same as you did the first time) and duplicate the existing loop and just move it to the new track.

im not sure with acid though if you use instrument or midi tracks for EZ.

im not sure i totally get what you said here though.
let me know if im off.

it is possible to use a midi controller and link it to EZ if you wanna do the drums that way.

i found though the easiest way for me is to just find a loop that's as close as possible to what you want, and then just go into the drum map thingy and change what i need by hand and duplicate the part when needed.

whatever gets you there though i guess.

If I am reading this right, you want to convert the EZ Drummer track to an audio track?

If that is the case I believe that Acid can either export as audio or bounce to audio.

With the bounce option you simply create another audio track and then select the midi and EZ tracks and then use the bounce to track option and let it do its thing.

Hey Guys!

I hope u can help me!

I have acid pro 7.0 and EZDrummer as well. I managed to install EZDrummer and it can be seen in Acid, but I got an error message:

"EzDrummer cannot find the sound files, the path to the sounds are not set!"

How could I solve this??

Thx,

Steve

Did you install the content to another directory other then what Acid wanted it in?

Did you install the content at all?
