i just got a fresh copy of cubase studio 4
for an early x-mas present, and am tryin to set it up to work with my roland td-6 and ezdrummer

i'm pretty new with all this but here are my problems

can't find a drum map for cubase for ezdrummer and not sure if the map will help my issues, and do i need a seperate map for each ezdrummer kit? drumkit from hell vintage, nashvile

main prob regions,, when i play my td-6 listening to the audio generated by the head module, i get different sounds depending on where i hit, mostly on cymbals, if i hit the bell i get a bell sound, if i hit the edge i get a splash. i can't get this at all using the kit to trigure ezdrummer. is this something the drum maps will fix?

pleasee i need this workin before i go to fl for x-mas vacation, (want to record some with my old band back home)

if you look in your project in Cubase,(to the left of the track your on) in the inspector window where you can see EZDrummer selected as your VST instrument, just under that you'll see "Drum Map" can choose either No drum map or drum map.

not sure how to get straight into it from there, but if you import a loop and double click it, it will take you to your drum map and then you can assign the drum hits to where ever you want.

So if you hit a snare on ya kit and it comes out as tom or cymbal in the drum map, you can just change that to the snare, as you probably already know.

hope this helps
