Sarah Palin spent "tens of thousands" more than the quoted $150,000 on clothes for the Republican campaign, met McCain aides in her hotel room dressed in nothing but a towel, and did not know Africa was a continent, according to new reports.
Fox news has reported that Mrs Palin did not understand that Africa was a continent, not a country, and did not know what countries were in the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Nov 06, 2008 08:28 am elections over, let's move on...
that said, eh, I'd still hit it...
Nov 06, 2008 08:39 am well, yeah. but what was mccain thinking? if this is true about her lack of knowledge, then mccain didn't put country first, and this should anger anyone, even republicans.
Nov 06, 2008 08:44 am yeah, yeah, and the US has 57 states too...
move on...nothing to see here...
Nov 06, 2008 08:46 am dude, that's disingenuous. everyone knows that was a slip. you know how we know? because you, db, know the number of states in the USA.
there are slips and then there are glaring holes in knowledge.
Nov 06, 2008 08:52 am yeah, like I didn't know that was gonna be your response...of course it was a slip, so what...
my point remains the same, move on, let it go, even I came in off the ledge yesterday, jeezuz.
Nov 06, 2008 08:58 am alright. i'm just sayin'...
it;s bad if mccain knew it and bad if he didn't. how this happened i dont know.
also its possible people in the rep party want to bring palin down, though, so who knows.
Nov 06, 2008 09:00 am I think McCain and Palin were sacrificial lambs led to slaughter. There was virtually no way a republican would have won the white house this time around no matter who they put up. And really, they shouldn't have, Republicans have abandoned their centrist majority and dictated societal norms that they hypocritically can't bear themselves, the left builds on bogus robin hood claims that they'll never do because they'd be stealing from themselves...and have completely lost touch with middle America in a swing to the very far left in some cases. ("far left" per American definition).
Nov 06, 2008 09:02 am yeah

Nov 06, 2008 12:27 pm I think we elected Obama. I think we need to watch him like we did not Johnson through Bush. I think we are here now and need to deal with it. Or, I guess, we can just cry victom, whine alot, point our fingers, and wonder what Paris is wearing.

Nov 06, 2008 01:32 pm in stead of talking about paris's clothes we're talking about Palins... anyone happen to notice the DOW is down over 440 points?
Nov 06, 2008 01:38 pm But gas is down to $2.09.
Nov 06, 2008 03:43 pm GAS IS DOWN TO $2.09! Where! I'm still sitting at $2.58!
God, I have been dreaming that it would go down to under $2 for ever. I didn't think we would. But, if you are at $2.09, then it could be possible!
Nov 06, 2008 03:46 pm I filled up for $1.98 this morning
neener, neener
Nov 06, 2008 03:47 pm Yeah, I saw that price at several stations in Macon today. It's been dropping like a rock here in central Georgia lately. At the current rate, it will be under $2 by next week.
Then again, a flying pig may break my windshield too.
Nov 06, 2008 03:51 pm Yup, flying pigs will do that.

And Collen Powell should have been the one running for the Rep's.
Nov 06, 2008 09:12 pm I just filled up for $2.39 less than 70 miles from dB's house. WTF?

Nov 06, 2008 10:16 pm I heard there are a few stations down in southern IA and norther MO that are in the $1.80's range.
Nov 06, 2008 10:23 pm Hell, for that price, I can pay you, and have you ship it to me. And it still would be cheaper!

Nov 07, 2008 03:33 am There was something on the TV last night "8 out of 10 cats" see if you can find it, its well funny.
Someone on the programme mentioned that Palin couldn't be more right wing if she was holding a bible and a machine gun while standing on a mound of dead gays.
