hey,

Im looking to get some quality home recorded drums done - but! dont know whether to go with the roland TD6's sounds or EZDrummer sounds which I have recently purchased. I have yet to hear the TD6 which is why I am asking.. though my thoughts are that the TD6 will be older and therefore not be as good a quality as the samples in EZDrummer.

Any thoughts?

thanks

I own a TD6 and the sounds are actually pretty good. I do use my Alesis DM5 much more, though these days it is a lot of software samples using various drum synth programs that are trigger by my kit.

but the TD-6 sounds are very usable. I suggest giving them a go and see what you think. Getting the reverb off of them is a key though. Find some dry ones you like and try them. Although even some of the verbed ones are not half bad at all.
