CD Printing?

I'm about to print a small run of CD's (~100) to give to friends, sell for cheap at my weekly gig, etc..

Any recommendations on a good service to use that burns the CD and prints the inserts? I've found a couple of online places that I like and am leaning towards using the Guitar Center/Disk Faktory guys:
www.diskfaktory.com/secur...ault_011703.asp

But there are several others on the market as well. I really like the model Mixonic uses, allowing you to set up a shopping cart and what not, but their prices are too high, I think:

Any suggestions are welcome. I really wish I could get a true CD printed instead of using CDR's, but given the small quantity I need, I think this is out of my price range...

Thanks in advance for the advice,
Brad.

I'm taking a look to see if I can beat that price for you.

Waldo,
I noticed in a seperate post you mentioned you run a CD duplication company. Do you have a webpage where I could get more info. I'm asking on behalf of a friend who is going to be doing compilation project in the next 4-5 months (I'll be featured on it), and he is looking for a deal on duplicating CDs. He's also interested in pressing vinyl, do you do that. You can post, but feel free to email me as well. thanks.

bmeador> I did as much math as I could, and at this time, there is no way I could touch that price for that number of prints, I'd lose money on supplies!

When I get the new machinery (may be a while), it'll get cheaper, as supplies for the machinery will be less expensive as well.

I have no idea what quality these guys pump out, so let me know if you run with them, what the product is like.

coolo> The website hasn't been developed yet of course, but it will all run through NWR4. In fact, as part of the affiliation, HRC will be able to run the service eventually as well.

I don't press vinyl myself, but do know guys that do, nor do I replicate CDs, only duplicate (CDr), but again, I got a pretty good deal with a company locally.

I do compilations on a regular basis, and I'm working on three at the moment. Gimme specs in an e-mail, and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for trying, Waldo. Maybe my first pressing will be so well received that I'll have to look you up when I'm ready to cut 10,000 units!
