no control panel no sound recording!
I have a fire studio project. and cubase 4 le with the latest updates.

i was watching the cubase demystifyed cd that came with the project and it has a section on setting up devices,, i tried to follow that, but when it told me to press the control panel button under VST audio system > presonus firestudio the button does nothing. just clicks and nothing happens, i opened my firecontrol panel program, and can see the eq bar moving from my guitart. but i can only hear the sound when my phones are plugged straight into the project. my pc speakers have no audio then the presonus drivers are activated in cubase

when i'm pluged into the project i can hear the guitar audio, but whne i try to record it (my inputs an outputs are set up like on the video) it does not show any sound in the small eq next to the record track, and no sound records when i try, i also can not hear the click track when i try to record..

please help..

Uninstall it. Then, go to Presonus.com and get the latest drivers... Just in case, but let me know and I'll help you set it up. (I have a FireStudio.)

If they are sharing a computer resource, and it makes conflicts, yeah, that does make sense.

Lol. I know. I just hate how things like that can interfere.
