My Wavelab Mystery!

Hi dudes I would appreciate your input on my strange phenonema regarding MP3 bitrates....here's the deal
I've made a mix 16 bit wav file
Have converted it to 320 KBPS MP3 - 44100 (Using Fraunhofer)

All is fine up until this point.
The following day I find that MY MP3's are suddenly playing at 11.25 kHz and 32 Kbps!!!!!!!

When I scroll over the MP3 with my cursor the info box pops up which tells me that the MP3 IS 320 Kbps!

This has happened before yet never so often as now!

What causes this and of course how the hell do I fix and prevent it from happening again!!

Hey while I'm at it do you know a good programme that I can write ID3 tags for that can be read by ITunes, Real Player, etc
At the moment all I got is NERO!!!

Many thanx
MATT

That's a freaky one - I'd contact Steinberg tech support.

That can happen if you haven't turned off/disabled Windows Sounds.

You can edit ID3 tags in Winamp.

I second Winamp for ID3 tags.

And I had issues with my Wavelab when I first got it, but after doing a hard uninstall and re-installing it, it resolved itself.
