routing question

mmm not sure if this is a continuation of my original parallel compression question or not.

anyway, with parallel compression does the track im using it on, need to be "stereo out" still?? i had it "no Bus" for a while and only just realized, so i changed it back to stereo out.
doesnt it defeat the purpose having it on "no bus"?

im using the send level in that track to bring compression in from the compression track.
