EZDrummer Issue... Audio Driver Failed to Load.

Hi. I am very new to digital recording. I just purchased EZDrummer and am having an issue with the audio driver failing to load. I am running a PC, AMD processor, WinXP, lots of ram and memory, Audigy 2 ZS sound card. I loaded EZdrummer on a separate partition (not C: drive) to conserve space on my internal hard drive. When I launch Toontrack Solo, right off the bat I get an error message that says "Failed to load audio driver". I click "OK" and then it launches EZDrummer and Toontrack Solo. Everything "seems" to be functioning except I have no audio from EZDrummer. What am I doing wrong? EZDrummer V1.1.1. Thanks in Advance for your help.

You may just need to go in the Audio Options and set the driver to use to either WDM or ASIO. I don't have EZDrummer so I'm not sure where the option is exactly but it should have the option. Other than that you might try re-installing EZ, and make sure you have the latest drivers for your Audigy.

Yep, I would make certain the drivers are loaded and working for the Audigy and then as OD suggested go into the audio options section of EZDrummer and set it up to use the Audigy as its output and input source.

I had the same exact problem. I called the EZDrummer helpdesk and the guy told me to download the driver from ASIO4ALL.com. The english version worked for me. Installed and EZDrummer worked perfectly.

Oh ya, after you install that driver and open EZDrummer you must change the audio source in the top menu. Happy drumming
