I cant seem to get this software to run in sonar 3 producer edition. When I first downloaded the demo I ran the vst adapter 4 and it did work but I later removed it and tried to reinstall it and no matter what I do it wont show up in vst or dxi! I uninstalled and reinstalled everything and still nothing.. I assume its some registry in windows. HELP ME!

Sep 12, 2008 11:00 pm Its a demo and is meant to time out. Un installing it without removing the registry entries will do nothing.
A demo is just that, a demo to try out before you buy it. You can't really expect them to let you use it forever without paying for it.
I am not certain how NI sets their reg keys but am guessing it set multilple ones to prevent simply deleting the reg key to enable running the demo forever.
If you liked it maybe just purchase it and be good to go.
Otherwise there are some free bits of software out there that are similar to GR that can be used.

Sep 13, 2008 01:43 pm If I remember right, I don't think the GR3 demo expires, but it does limit one to 30min's at a time. There is no DXi version of GR3, so it may be a problem with the VST adapter finding where the GR3 dll is.
