What I have :

2 technics 1200
1 Vestex PMC 280 DJ mixer
1 Rane Scratch live MP3 mixer
1 Boss BR 900 CD digital 8 track
2 Yamaha HS 50M self powered speakers

What I want to do :

Record my DJ mix semi live (stopping at times
to fix a mix to next track or add samples etc)

I am not sure where the Boss 8 track needs to hook up to ? I have the Mp3 mixer and turtables / speakers hooked up so i can mix MP3s but now i want to record. Where (through what) do I hook up the digital 8 track for recording ?

IF your mixer has a second set of outputs or aux outputs then you can use that to send the audio to the Boss. I am not sure on that unit if it does, but it appears to have two different mix outs. Whether you can use them both at the same time would be in the manual I suppose.
