problem with E-mu 1616m and compressor connection

Hi,

I have problem with conneting compressor to e-mu 1616m soundcard.

I'd like to send signal from soundcard to compressor, and than return from compressor to soundcard.
I use cubase 4... so I'd like to records in cubase compressed sound on a new track.

Is it possible?

I will be really gratefull for help.

Yep, outs from the 1616 to the ins of the compy and the outs of the compy to the ins of the 1616.

That should do it.

Use good cables though.

I forgot to add... how to put the E-mu mixer? I have cables connected...

I'll assume your talking about the E-mu software mixer panel. I'm not real familiar with it but I would assume simply tell it what outputs and inputs you want to use and that should do it. And set the levels as well I guess.
