I believe each pad in REDrum has a learn function does it not? If so then simply choose the pad in REDrum that you want to trigger and click learn, then hit the pad on the Axiom that you want to trigger it.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about this. I'm able to play the drums on the keys of my keyboard. I don't have a drum pad though. I would try creating a sequence block (don't know the official name) in the tracks, and then see if you can assign the pads to the individual instruments in there...

Ya, I would assume that you should be able to assign the pads in REDrum either to a note or have it learn the note that will be triggering the pad. If it doesn't then that is one bunk bit of software. Most software synthes and drum software I use have been able to do that for almost 5 years or better now. I can't believe that that expensive program doesn't have the ability to do that.

You may need to look in the REDrum options section and find it there.

Cool, glad it worked out. I just had no idea what they would call it. But I figured that program had to have a way to do it.

You may have hit the transpose button or key. That would do that.

YOu have to set your map back to normal to use it on any other instrument. The remapping you did is for REDrum and maybe a few other software synths. Then you have to go back to a standard mapping for the others.

Came across this old thread while i was researching my same issues.

I was having all the exact same problems. The way to fix this is to get the Reason 4.01 update if you have not already. One i did that, redrum was preprogrammed and all the pads worked.
