I recently started using Digital Performer 5 after purchasing a MAC. I record mainly vocals for R&B and Hip Hop, although we do record some instrumetns by way of keyboards, drum machines and guitars (electric and accoustic). I have been told that many of the included MOTU plug-ins are fairly decent. In the interest of time, can you suggest any of the ones you have been successful with for vocals? I have the main mic (Baby B.L.U.E.) hitting a Focusrite VoicemasterPlus before it hits the board which already does a pretty nice job of warming it up and providing fairly good compression and a de-esser. I dont use the other 3 setting son there. Thanks so much.

Aug 20, 2008 03:53 pm Sorry - just looking for some good reverbs, reccomended EQs (there are several to choose from), chorus FX and standard echos. Also, I have not been able to find the plug-in to manipulate a voice to sound like it is coming from a telephone receiver. Nothing too camplicated - its just that between the standard plug-ins and ones that were given to me, I would love a good starting place. Thanks.
