Problems with pitch shift in pro tools 7 le

So I have been working on some tracks for a local college and one of the professors tried to work on one of the tracks. He got overly carried away with pitch shifting and now wants to revert the audio to its original. Is there anyway that in pro tools 7 le I can revert the audio to the way it was? I thought about moving the region files back to the original time code but they are not marked. I wish i was only talking about a couple of pitch shifts but in reality upwards of 200. I just need to delete or revert the sections that are pitch shifted. Is this even possible? Please help!!!!!

It depends on if he archived or saved a copied track. Usually pitch shifting in PT le is a destructive edit, which is bad news for you if you really need to go back as it won't.

You can look into the track file and see if there is a non-shifted version in there that is not effected and then simply import that back in. But I am guessing it sounds as though he may not have even given that a thought and they were edited destructively and your choice is either to sit down and have a lot of patience as you re-edit them by hand. Or simply get the parts re-done by the artist that recorded them.

Either way it is going to be a pain.
