Behringer DSP2024 - Using each channel separately - help please

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum.

I have a Behringer DSP2024 Virtualizer and I'm trying to see what it can do to enhance vocals.

How do I use channel 1 for a particular factory setting and use channel 2 for another factory setting at the same time? The owners manual is not terribly clear.

Can I "cascade" the channels - go I go out from the mixer's "send" jack to channel 1 input and from channel 1 output go directly to channel 2 input and then from channel 2 output back to the mixer's "return". My purpose would be to use two separate effects on the same signal but only use one send and return. Does this make sense or is there an easier/better way to do this?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best,

Barry

P.S. No Behringer bashing please.

Hey, no Berry bashing here. Many of us use their gear every day around here. I know I do.

Anyway, I'm not honestly sure you can route it like that without doing some damage to the unit. Although you could check with Behringer tech support to see. I did scan the pdf of the manual and didn't find anything obvious pointing to being able to do that right off.

But I do know that the unit can run either serial which is inline or parallel which is side by side effects so that might work out for you. Simply use the mono channel and serial effect set up to get the 2 effects you want in line and you should be good to go.

By the way, welcome to HRC.
