SB LIVE 5.1 Platinum and Delta 2496 ???? HELP

Here is my problem, I just got my M-audio Delta card and I wanted to leave my SB LIVE card in my computer also because it has alot of ins/outs on the front panel and also a headphone jack....I am running Windows ME and I just wondered if I'm not supposed to have two sound cards at the same time. It seems that when ever I want to switch to a different card I have to reinstall the drivers....Is there anyway for me to get Both Cards to Work at the same time without all this hassel or am I not meant to do this.....thanks

I have both an SB and my Delta running on XP and they were also running on Me. I would make sure you have the current drivers for the SB card. I know it might be looking for WDM drivers for the SB card and you might be running MME drivers, and that could cause a problem. I have even had both sets of drivers running live in Sonar, so I know it works fine. You might try just for kicks popping the Delta card into a differant PCI slot.
