May 05, 2008 08:31 am Im recording my own song and some acustic guitar
May 05, 2008 08:57 am So the click is coming through in the Acoustic guitar track? Are you using a microphone or going D.I. (plugging straight in)?

May 05, 2008 09:05 am Yes that is correct! im recording it all straight into the mic, and onlytime i can hear the click when i record the guitar is when it record the it records it as well :x
May 05, 2008 09:11 am Hmmm, ok. Might sound silly, but are you monitoring with headphones or speakers?

May 05, 2008 09:26 am Right now i only have my headphones connected.
May 05, 2008 09:39 am Hmmm. I can only guess that its how the audiophile control panel is set up. Under 'Patchbay/Router', what is H/W Out 1/2 going to?

May 05, 2008 10:10 am I think i have another newer version.
"mixer","output","hardware" and "about"
and cant find any thing called H/W Out 1/2
May 05, 2008 10:12 am You may want to try panning your click hard left and your guitar hard right, and only record the hard right recording...not optimial, but it could help debug and figure out if it's simply a routing conflict...which I suspect it is.

May 05, 2008 11:01 am Another thing is, IF i record it without click, make another track to sing the lyrics it records the first track in a very low tone?
Have to be some wrong connection or something....

May 05, 2008 10:10 pm Go to the windows sound control panel and un-check the box marked What You Hear. That should solve the problem for you.
M-Audio on the cars like the 2496 still uses the windows control panel as it is attached to windows as its primary audio out by default so this will take care of that.
May 05, 2008 10:35 pm Are you using a mixer or anything between the mic and audiophile?
Can you post a clip? You can upload it to the music page in your profile.
