So I had this cover of an "Angel" tune I did a while back and the drums were weak. So I used my new Steven Slate drum samples. I replaced the original kick and snare. There is a hell of alot of samples to choose from. Pretty cool. Saves alot of time messing with eq's and various plugins to get a good sound. I used the samples based on Nervana's Nevermind sound. Sort of sounds like it. Oh yea please forgive the singing. It sucks www.soundclick.com/util/g...571921&q=hi

But ya, it is cool when you find a decent set of drum sounds to use. They sound great in this one for sure. Nice sound by the way as well.

Apr 21, 2008 03:45 pm If using drumagog, another set you should get are some freebies on the forums. They are from pipeline audio and are sampled at 96Khz and do very well with the fast rolls that build up in velocity. Very natural sounding. I would love the SSD package, alas cannot afford it at this time.
