Looking for a amp modeler, what would be you buy?
I have been thinking about the J station because of the digital out.....and also has bass and guitar modes
Already use revalve but eats up the sources

Feb 20, 2003 02:09 pm well about 7 months or so ago i wrote an article on three different types of mods , and I have both a POD and a J station , the POD is the most popular one to use , it does have some nice happy things that go with it but both are a lot the same , you can up graDE both of them online . The best i can tell you is to go to your local music store check them both out and see what one you like the best , either way you won't be disapointed .
Feb 20, 2003 03:43 pm I think that the johnson is the only one of the 2 that has a digital out for my omni studio or delta 66 in. That is a major function for me not having to convert from a/d d/a a/d.
revalve is a great program but eats up the resources on my p4 computer.
Thanks Gutter

Feb 20, 2003 04:13 pm I like the POD, although I've never used the J Station. I run my guitar through the POD, Then my reverb, then all my pedals. I primarally bought the POD because it sounds cool, and it is a nice rack mountable unit. I hate having things strewn out everywhere so when I can I buy rack mount units. I've heard good things about the J station though, so just go try em both out if you can.
