Thanx for your opinions.
I'll go on using HB & Waves plugins instead of testing ozone..

However I got the same sensation as you when I see ozone for the first time: the sound ain't as clear as the one obtained with the Waves plugins.

My steps are:

1. Check and analysis of the mixdown file in WL
2. Peaks and valleys adjustements by HB
3. Q10, Dsp aural activator, LinB, S1, L2 in WL
4. Check and analysis of the mastered file in WL
5. Check of the spectrum by HB
6. Audio montage in WL to put fade in/out without affecting the original Master file.

One plugin that I recommend for the mastering chain is the BBE Sonic Maximizer.

HB is short for Har-Bal, a fantastic peice of mastering software most of us HRC dudes swear by. Only reason I uninstalled it from my machine is because I simply don't master.

The BBE maximizer is neat. Haven't used the plugin because I use the rack unit, but I imagine it's pretty close to the same.

dB may chime in here, as he's done mastering for a while now.
