It looks to me like it functions a lot like Garageband, and from what I understand I can open Garageband projects in Logic Express.
I guess I'll find out on Tuesday, and I'll keep you guys posed.
Also, what the hell happened? I swore off computer recording twice now and here I am back again!

The problem I've had with standalone digital recorders is a lack of tracks and options.
Sooo, I'm hoping I get the best of both worlds with the FW1884 and Logic Express. Either that or it'll get so complicated I get frustrated and sell it all just like last time. Who knows?

Apr 06, 2008 09:23 pm Also I just discovered that my FW1884 has MOTORIZED FADERS! I can't tell you how excited that makes me. I feel like a little kid. I can't wait to open a project in Logic Express and watch all the faders jump into place.

But now in Sonar I am so used to having everything set up with key strokes and all customized to my needs I don't really miss the faders. Maybe a little but not enough to have spent cash on a control interface yet.
And ya, I assumed you knew it had those.
Like a kid in the candy store.
